Difficulty Breathing Through The Nose When The Temperature Is Cold Accompanied By Reddish Itchy Rashes?
Hello doctor! ‘I’m 19 years old. I have a history of heartburn. I weigh around 65-70 kg. Complaints, I often have difficulty breathing; the nose is unable to breathe air while lying down when temperatures are cold. In addition, in cold temperatures or precisely when exposed to cold winds during, before, or after rain, I feel itchy (accompanied by a red rash) and tightness. If I feel severe cold, I can get pins and needles and fall asleep for more than 4 hours. This could happen after I ran jogging around the football stadium. In fact, I was an athlete and used to run more than that (vacuum after 17 years). Even this pain can just appear when I stand up without doing any activity. The worst pain was twice, I cried dryly and felt stiff. Other complaints were dizzy for no reason until the eyes were a bit blurred to see something. Why is that? Hopefully what I have explained can help the doctor provide answers. 😅

Difficulty breathing through the nose, especially when the temperature is cold, accompanied by itching, red rash, shortness of breath, tingling, until weakness is likely to indicate an allergy. Excessive sensitivity of a person to allergens, for example cold, can trigger an increase in the production of chemical mediators, namely histamine, which plays a role in triggering airway constriction and increased production of mucus in the airways so that arises difficulty breathing and tightness as you experience. Furthermore, this allergic reaction can also make your skin feel itchy, reddish rashes appear, until various other complaints appear. Not yet clear what exactly causes a person experiencing allergies. However, genetic and environmental factors are strongly suspected to influence it.
In addition to allergies, your complaints may also occur due to respiratory infections, irritation from living certain chemical fumes, gastric acid reflux, panic attacks, excessive anxiety disorders, heart problems, and so on. The heartburn and chest pain, dizziness, and blurred vision that you experience are more likely to arise due to gastritis, gastric ulcer GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease), migraine, anemia, hypoglycemia, or many other possible causes.
You should check yourself directly to a doctor or a specialist in internal medicine, so that your condition can be handled properly. Frequently, your condition can be overcome by administering several types of drugs coupled with a healthy lifestyle arrangement. If necessary, your doctor may also recommend that you undergo additional examinations, for example laboratories, X-rays, ultrasound, endoscopy, heart records, and so on.
