Difficulty Breathing When Doing Strenuous Physical Activity?
I want to ask. I often feel tired and short of breath every time I run or refuse a vehicle,, I often have shortness of breath when I’m startled or when I’m scared??
Thank you for the question. You may find it difficult to breathe when doing strenuous physical activities such as running because your lungs have less capacity and resistance for these activities. In general, the resistance of the lungs to this physical activity can be trained so that you will be able to better tolerate more strenuous physical activity. Likewise, the condition of being surprised and afraid, experiencing rapid breathing or feeling short of breath can still be classified as something normal. However, this complaint of shortness of breath is also caused by certain medical conditions, for example:
respiratory tract infections sinusitis gastric acid disease asthma bronchitis pneumonia tuberculosis anxiety disorders If this complaint really bothers you and is uncontrolled, please consult your doctor for further examination and treatment. Further information about your complaint needs to be known by the doctor then the doctor also needs to carry out an examination on you. The doctor will suggest supporting examinations such as blood tests, sputum examinations, X-rays, and others, to help find the cause. Subsequent treatment depends on the underlying condition.
Please do the following suggestions:
apply relaxation techniques with deep breathing techniques every day. It is hoped that by applying relaxation techniques you can more easily cope with stress. Avoid smoking. Avoid exposure to dust or air pollution. If shortness of breath appears, stop your activities immediately and try to regulate your breath slowly. Hope this helps.
