Discoloration Of The Toenail After Bleeding?
Hello, I’m Winda want to ask. So a week ago my nail hit a wood and caused blood to flow then I cleaned and gave Betadine but until now it still hurts (cenut cenut) and the nails are also not like other nails (yellow and look unhealthy) what should I do? Thank you
Hello Winda! Thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
Toes are a part of the body that is quite susceptible to injury. The yellow that appears may be due to povidon iodine that you drop. However, we still need to think about other possibilities. Because your pain has been up to a week and there is a change in the color of the nails, you should see a doctor to be examined. You can compress cold toes to reduce swelling and pain. If the pain remains unbearable, you can use painkillers over the counter for a while. Immediately see your doctor again if the toe comes out of pus or redness and swelling comes out of the injured area.
That's all information from me. I hope this helps.
