Distended Belly Above The Navel?
Tanya, I’m a 31-year-old man weighing 75 kg and height 175 cm, my stomach is protruding above the navel, is that normal or has an illness?
Hello, thank you for the question for HealthReplies.com.
To find out normal weight, body mass index (BMI) can be calculated, namely by:
Weight is divided by height (in meters) which is raised in two.
So if you are 75kg in weight and 175cm in height, your BMI = 75: (1.75x1.75) is 24.4 kg / m2.
Normally BMI ranges from 18.5-24.9 kg / m2. So that your BMI is actually still within the norm, but it is already at the limit level towards high (almost overweight).
To find out more about the causes, diagnosis and treatment of your complaint, you should immediately consult with a clinical nutrition specialist.
1. Reduce fatty foods and high cholesterol
2. Reduce foods high in sugar and salt
3. Exercise routine 3 times a week for 30 minutes
4. A lot of consumption of vegetables and fruit
Thus, hopefully useful :)
