Hi, thanks for asking HealthReplies.com
Dizziness (spinning) with nausea and blurry vision that you experience can be a vertigo, and is most often caused by a disorder of the inner ear called BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo). BPPV causes a spinning sensation, and occurs suddenly due to a sudden change in position of the head. However, there are many other possibilities that can cause the symptoms you are experiencing, including:
Idiopathic (no known cause) Trauma or impact to the ear Low or high blood pressure Central nervous system disorders Vestibular neuritis Meniere's disease Tumors or disorders of the brain
It is advisable to consult a doctor first so that further examination can be carried out. Examinations that may be carried out include blood pressure checks, ear examinations, balance, tests that will trigger vertigo and possibly a CT-scan or MRI if needed.
Some of the things you can do include:
Avoid sudden head movements Rest by sitting or lying down when vertigo strikes Avoid activities that require a lot of head movement Get adequate rest Manage stress well
