Dizzy After Using New Glasses?
Hello, I’m Syfa. I just changed my glasses. The new glasses differ from 0.5 to 1 with the old ones. I feel dizzy and when I look at the floor like a convex. I only used it 2 days. Is that reasonable? Or the lens that I use is not appropriate?
Changes in glasses, both lenses and eyeglasses, can cause dizziness, watery eyes, and distortion of objects seen (for example, the floor becomes convex, uneven stairs, etc.). This is mostly experienced by people who are wearing glasses for the first time, replacing the lens with a large difference in lens strength, the use of progressive lenses. This is normal for the first 2-3 days of use. In some cases it can be up to 2 weeks for the glasses to be really comfortable to wear. At the beginning of use you should avoid driving / driving a vehicle or doing difficult work with your new glasses if you cause dizzy complaints. Use the new glasses as often as possible. Help with head movements when you want to see objects on the side / up / down other than with eye movements. If within a few days the complaint does not also decrease you should check your eyes again, who knows the strength of the lens you wear is not appropriate or there are other abnormalities in the eye.
Thus the explanation from me, may be useful.
