Do I Have Maladaptive Daydream?
Hello, I want to tell a little. So I like to fantasize excessively, whatever I see can be the material for my fantasy character, even he has a name. But if I have a problem or something interesting happens, I feel like I’m going to have a chat with someone, for example, when I experience anxiety, I feel like I’m going to complain about a psychiatrist’s complaint. When I’m anxious, my body feels twofold, I feel like I’m fighting with him (anxiety). I also feel like I can break up depending on the situation. Actually, I realized that only I could not control myself. I’ve read it, it’s called maladaptive daydream, but is that correct? thank you
Daydreaming is one of the conditions that can occur due to several things such as psychological problems, lack of concentration, and many other causative factors. Maladaptive daydreaming itself is a psychological disorder in which a person looks like daydreaming but can see the contents of daydreams or feel the contents of daydreams feel real so that an atmosphere of self-expression can be seen as what is experienced in his daydreams.
The cause of MDD itself is not known for sure but this needs further examination and observation, especially by experts in their field of psychiatrists to determine what you experience and provide treatment in accordance with the conditions experienced. If daydreaming is felt to interfere with daily activities it is necessary to immediately conduct an examination on a psychiatric specialist in order to immediately get an examination.
