Do I Have Sinusitis? If Yes, What Is The Medicine For Sinusitis?
Doc I want to ask, I have symptoms of pain in the back of the neck, forehead, upper jaw, cough and runny nose for 5 days, but it has not healed. Please explain, doc, thank you.
Hello Aradhea, thank you for asking to HealthReplies.com.
Let me introduce myself, Dr. Rio will answer your question.
Based on the signs and symptoms you mentioned, it is actually less specific, and does not lead to a definite diagnostic. Complaints are too general, and varied so that I cannot give a definite illness without direct examination. But from some of the complaints you mentioned there are several possibilities such as:
Hypercholesterolemia - this can occur when a neck complaint feels uncomfortable often in this condition.
Sinusitis - Can be considered considering one sinus cavity is on the forehead, but if you previously rarely cough / runny nose, sinusitis rarely occurs. Sinusitis complaints usually occur repeatedly, and often occur if not treated before.
Some of the possibilities above, can occur but to ensure that I advise you to consult directly with your doctor, take an history to clarify your complaints, do a physical examination, and supporting examinations such as blood checks, etc. in accordance with the indications found. At this time what you can do include:
Get enough rest, and eat nutritious foods to increase your immunity.
Eat foods rich in fiber like vegetables, and fruit.
Consumption of water 2- 2.5L per day.
Avoid foods that are too greasy for a while.
Multivitamin consumption is also recommended.
Use a mask.
Avoid traveling to crowded places for a while considering the outbreak of co-19.
Do physical distancing.
That's all my answer, thank you very much :)
