Do You Need An MRI Test Up To 2 Times?
Good evening, a week ago my mother did an MRI test, after conducting a test the officer said that the results could be taken a week after the test. Right today is the day to take the MRI results, but when I came alone, the officer in charge said “his mother was taken to the deck, for another MRI test” I want to ask, was the MRI test done twice? Or is there really a technical error that requires a retrieval? thank you
MRI or magnetic resonance imaging is a supporting examination carried out to obtain a body image (imaging) by utilizing magnetic fields and radio wave energy. This check is generally safe but is contraindicated in several conditions.
The part of the body that is examined and the frequency of MRI examinations are very dependent on a person's condition based on the doctor's judgment so that I cannot provide information about this, if it is considered necessary the MRI examination can be repeated because it is quite safe to do. Related to this, your mother should consult directly with the doctor who treats her, because of course the doctor who treats her is more understanding about the condition and needs of the examiner than only through online consultation.
