Do You Need Surgery When A Sprained Leg Doesn’t Heal?
It’s been 2 weeks due to a sprained but never healed where I went for treatment but it still remains the same rsa the pain can not disappear and to stand the knee feels weak
Thank you for the question.
Sprains on the feet can have a mild impact, but can also be serious. Often, when you sprain, you will feel pain, swelling, redness, and also warm around your feet. These complaints can indicate a limited injury to the muscles, or other deeper tissue in your leg, such as joint dislocation, ligamentous rupture, bursitis, nerve nerve, fracture or fracture, and so on. Frequently, mild sprains will improve in less than 1 week with the following treatments:
Rest sprained leg from excessive physical activity Compress with sprained leg ice feet that are comfortable, not too narrow, have no right height, and ergonomically adjust your foot type. However, if more than 1 week the symptoms due to your sprains are still not getting better, even make your feet feel weak when moved, then you should not underestimate this condition. Concerned, tissue damage is more serious, and can have fatal consequences if not treated immediately. Therefore, go to check your condition immediately to the doctor or neurologist for further examination, including for example with x-rays, CT scans, or other supporting tests. If necessary, your doctor can also refer you to an orthopedic surgeon later to get the right treatment.
Hope this helps ...
