Does The Beta HCG Result Of 44 MIU / ML Indicate Pregnancy?
, if the result of B hcg 44 is pregnant or not?
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Basically, beta hCG is a hormone that will increase during pregnancy. Beta hCG can be detected through a pregnancy test through urine which usually will only indicate the presence or absence of this hormone in the urine (qualitative beta hCG). In nonpregnant conditions, the beta hCG levels are so low that they will not be released in the urine. If a woman has a pregnancy, the beta hCG in her blood will increase and so does the beta hCG in her urine. The presence of beta hCG in this urine will be detected by a pregnancy test kit (test pack) as pregnant.
There is also another beta hCG examination that is beta hCG examination in the blood. Examination of blood beta hCG can show with certainty the woman's beta hCG levels (quantitative beta hCG). This examination can not only indicate the presence or absence of pregnancy, but can also show whether the beta hCG levels are normal for gestational age. Beta hCG levels in nonpregnant women are below 0 - 5 mIU / mL. Values above 5 mIU / mL indicate an increase in beta hCG and are most likely to indicate a pregnancy. Bring the results back to the doctor who requested an examination for further analysis of the results (adjusted to your pregnancy history, your gestational age, and if any, can also be matched with the results of previous examinations).
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
