Does The Cavity Solution Hurt?
Good night, my graham tooth has been left with holes for about 4 years. But suddenly there is a problem like pain in the cavity. At night the pain is getting worse. What should I do?
Hello Kafanialk, Thank you for the question.
Tooth cavities that are not treated promptly can cause further problems. Leftover food can enter these cavities along with bacteria so that the infection can enter the tooth pulp (the inside of the tooth that contains blood vessels and nerves) and cause a condition known as pulpitis. This condition can cause toothache complaints in the sufferer. This infection can continue to develop so that a tooth abscess can form. Apart from tooth abscess, other complications that can occur are sinusitis and endocarditis (an infection that spreads to the lining of the heart and heart valves).
The best thing you can do is to consult with your dentist as soon as possible so that the dentist can carry out an examination of your teeth, possibly including x-rays of your teeth, to find the cause and determine the next treatment. For the time being, please take paracetamol to treat pain temporarily. Please keep brushing your teeth regularly. You can also gargle with warm water mixed with salt.
I hope this helps.
