Does Urinating Itch Even If You Do Not Have A Fever That Is A Feature Of UTI?
I want to ask, why is it that when I urinate, and when I urinate it feels itchy, I say it is a genital tract infection, but I don’t feel like a fever or UTI, etc. I just feel the time when I urinate, the urine feels itchy?
Hello Anwar, thank you for asking.
UTI or urinary tract infection is an infection of the urinary tract that can occur from the kidneys to the urethra (the last channel before the urine is removed from the body). UTI above if it occurs in the kidneys and ureters, while UTI below if it occurs in the bladder and urethra. Infection can be caused by bacteria, viruses, or fungi. It is true that someone who has a UTI will complain of symptoms of fever, nausea, vomiting, and plague. But in some individuals what is called asymptomatic UTI, or UTI without symptoms. This incident is not frequent, but it can happen. In asymptomatic conditions a person does not feel the symptoms mentioned above.
You should consult directly with the doctor so that the doctor can do a physical examination and supporting examinations. Investigation, such as urinalysis or radiological examination, aims to help diagnose whether you really have a UTI. Bacterial infections generally cause pain or heat during urination. Fungal infections generally cause itching when urinating. The doctor will also screen for the possibility of sexually transmitted infections (STIs). This is important because often UTI and STI symptoms are difficult to distinguish. Therapy given certainly depends on the cause of the infection.
In the meantime keep your urinary area clean. Always clean and dry the urinary area after urinating. Do not use underwear and pants that are too tight and made not absorb sweat. So little information that I can share, hopefully helped. Regards.
