Hello doctor. Yesterday my child bcg vaccine at the age of 1.5 on 15 March. So now at the age of 2 months you want to get the vaccine 1. Does it have to be on April 15? If you want on April 3 is this okay?

1 Answer:

Hello, thank you for your question to HealthReplies.com

BCG is included as a live vaccine and DTP is included as a non-live vaccine (toxoid, subunit or inactive). Giving a live vaccine and a non-living vaccine does not require spacing, meaning that it can be given together or it can also be given separately and there is no need to be given a gap between vaccines. Therefore you can only do the DTP 1 vaccine on April 3 (it doesn't have to be within 1 month of April 15). When vaccinating, make sure you bring your child's vaccination record and remind health workers who carry out the vaccination to make complete records.

So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
