Earaches Like Insects That Enter.?

Hello, I’m 17 years old, 3 months ago I felt a bug coming in when I slept in the right ear and then a few weeks on the left. I immediately use ear drops to remove it and it feels better. But a month ago my right ear was like that again but when I gave ear drops no insects came out. Then after that incident my ear often aches on the inside and aches when touched and also my ears turn red and feel hot. Then I let it go because it lasted the longest until the afternoon when I woke up it was no longer painful. But today my ears were sore and hot again but not red, and this has been going on since this afternoon until now. Is this a serious illness? Then what is the solution? Thank you..

Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Pain in the ear can be caused by many possibilities. Insects that enter the ear can indeed be one cause, but other possibilities need to be considered, for example:
external ear infection (otitis externa) middle ear infection (otitis media) the presence of hardened ear wax and ear plugs (cerumen prop) there is a large pressure difference (eg pain that occurs in the ear when boarding, diving, or being in a high place) pain originating from other places, such as toothache, throat disorders (for example an infection in the throat), temporomandibular joint disorder, etc. It is better for you to immediately check your ear condition to the ENT doctor. It must be ascertained beforehand the cause of your ear pain to be able to get the most appropriate therapy to treat it. For the time being, you should not pry into your ears and don't drip certain medications without instructions from the doctor. To reduce your ear pain, you can take pain medications such as paracetamol or compress the outside of your ear with warm compresses.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
