Eating Natural Foods After Taking Bisoprolol?
Assalamu Alaikum Wr Wb. Excuse me, I am 24 years old Ridwan. I am currently taking the Concor branded bisoprolol drug (already running 1 week). As explained in several articles that this Concor serves to lower blood pressure and slow heart rate. My question is whether I can consume 2 cloves of single garlic mixed with honey and after that drink a mixture of lemon juice, apple vinegar and warm water (consumption every morning before breakfast)? because according to several articles and research that I read, the four natural ingredients are very beneficial for healthy heart and blood flow. Thank you 🙂
Good night. Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com
Bisoprolol is a blood pressure reducer that works on receptors in the heart so it will help to lower blood pressure gradually by decreasing the rhythm of the heart's work. Use must be in accordance with the dose given by the doctor and not stop personally. For drug interactions it is usually avoided using drugs together with
Heart-regulating drugs such as lidocaine, digoxin
Anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen
For food consumption, it is a natural food that can be consumed and does not have a dangerous substance, where honey is useful to increase the resilience of the body, lemons are rich in vitamin C, apple cider vinegar contains fiber nutritional content. All of these things are good for health, but note that not too much like vitamin C that is too high can cause disorders such as irritation of the digestive tract. So that the use of once a day and in a reasonable dose is recommended.
For better, you can consult with your doctor, especially a clinical nutritionist, this will be useful so that the food and drinks you eat are in accordance with your needs and activities.
