ECG Results: Severe Bradycardia
Want to ask me (age 22) to get the results of Severe Bradycardia’s lab even though I regularly exercise about other factors that cause me to experience this?
Hello Hakase, thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Let me introduce myself, Dr. Rio will answer your question.
Bradycardia is the average human heart rate below 60x / minute. This is not necessarily a sign of an abnormality / disease. Usually bradycardia does not cause any signs and symptoms. In the management of bradycardia even if there are no danger signs such as hypotension, decreased awareness, signs of shock, ischemic chest pain, or acute heart failure the patient is only observed / monitored. I cannot confirm whether or not there is an abnormality in your heart because you did not attach your ECG image. However, if the ECG picture is normal, but my heartbeat is slow, I suspect it is due to you often exercise regularly. This often happens to athletes / sportsmen, occurs due to thickening of the heart muscle fibers, so that there is a thickening of the heart wall, especially the vertices and the contents of the heart chamber to be enlarged. The heart becomes more able to accept the incoming blood flow and pump more blood, so that, heart pumps become more efficient, and heart rates will be slower than normal people. This is normal, and it will actually make someone healthier. For more details, you can consult a cardiologist to find out if your bradycardia arises due to your frequent exercise or other abnormalities, but since you are currently experiencing a Covid-19 infection, if you don't currently experience any symptoms you can postpone it and but keep exercising regularly.
That's all my answer, thank you very much :)
