Effect Of Ovarian Cysts On Pregnancy Chances?
halo..i Dwi Maelani I want to ask. r n 5 months ago I was declared to have a cyst the last time the size was 6 cm, this month I was late for 10 days and finally I had a testpack and the results were positive … good when should I have an ultrasound? and will there be a problem in my pregnancy with this cyst?
Hi Dwi Maelani .. Thank you for the question.
Ovarian cysts are fluid-filled sacs that form in the ovaries of women. Generally these cysts are harmless, but can become dangerous if they rupture, are very large in size, and block the supply of blood to the ovaries. Symptoms that are often experienced are: flatulence, pain when defecating, frequent urination, menstrual irregularities, pelvic and abdominal pain, and nausea, vomiting.
If you have obtained ovarian cysts and are currently pregnant positive, you should check with your obstetrician to see the condition of your pregnancy and also to see the latest ovarian cyst condition. You can see a doctor at around 4 weeks' gestation when gestational sacs / pregnancy sacs have begun to appear.
Ovarian cysts are in the ovaries while in pregnant women the fetus is in the uterus / uterus, so these two organs are different. But you should still check yourself because a large cyst is feared to rupture or because of its large size can push the uterine area. For further action, it depends on the results of the examination to assess the position, size, and whether the cyst is potentially dangerous or not.
Meanwhile, what you can do is: get enough rest, eat nutritious foods, meet the needs of vitamins for pregnant women, avoid stress and anxiety.
