Enforcement Of Light Work Certificate?
Hello. I got a light work letter from a referral hospital doctor. Does the light work letter not apply if the issuing is not from the company’s hospital doctor ?? Thanks ..
Hello Angga Panjaitan,
Light work certificate is a certificate made and signed by a doctor who has clinical authority stating that the patient is sick and needs to adjust workload (light work) or need to rest. The light work certificate usually includes the following information:
Letterhead containing the name of the agency / doctor's name, the complete address of the agency, the agency's telephone number
Patient identity: full name, address, date of birth, gender, occupation
Information that the patient is sick and requires rest or light work for how many days
Period (date) required for rest / light work
Date of letter
The signature of the letter and the stamp of the agency / doctor who signed it
Work certificate can be made by any agency / doctor that has an official letter format and has clinical authority to write / sign the letter. Regarding your company accepting or not / requiring letters made by certain doctors / health facilities should be asked directly to your boss. Thus the explanation from me, hopefully useful.
