Explanation Of Bacterial Urine Test Results ++?
Good night, sorry to ask. Yesterday I was tested for urine and the result was Bacteria ++. What does it mean.? thank you
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Examination of bacterial urine ++ indicates the presence of bacteria in your urine or also known as bacteriuria. The presence of bacteriuria does not always indicate that you have an infection in your urinary tract if you do not experience symptoms of urinary tract infections (such as pain when urinating, difficulty urinating, insensitivity, etc.), and no inflammation is found in the channel your urine (your urine test only shows positive bacteria, no increased leukocytes or increased nitrite). Bacteriuria without signs of urinary tract infection is called asymptomatic bacteriuria. Asymptomatic bacteriuria for the most part does not require treatment unless it occurs in certain groups such as pregnant women or there are certain action plans that involve the urinary tract.
You should bring the results of your laboratory examination back to the doctor who recommends the examination for further analysis related to the results of your doctor's clinical examination (the results of the history and physical examination), as well as the results of other laboratory tests (results of other urine tests and blood tests if done) . Your doctor who will make the decision whether or not certain treatments should be made to your condition.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
