Explanation Of The Results Of Crossing Genes Or Blood Groups?
Afternoon, I want to ask and a little discussion, about the results of crossing genes / blood groups between Men (Gol.darah 0) and Women (Gol.darah AB)? What I often learn is that from the results of crossing it is possible the offspring / children have genes / goals blood A or B? Is it possible that the results of crossing O and AB produce genes / blood goals AB? If so, please describe. Thank you and Good afternoon.
Hello Fikri, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Someone who has blood type O has genotype (hereditary gene identity) OO, someone who has blood type AB has genotype AB, while people who have blood type A can have genotype AA or AO, and people who have blood type B can have genotype BB or BO. Decrease in blood type of parent to child is very dependent on this genotype.
Couples who have blood types O and AB will only produce offspring with blood type A or B only (genotype of the offspring is AO or BO), this pair will not have children with blood type AB.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
