The eye is one of the organs consisting of various parts, infection in the eye can occur anywhere, for example infection of the conjunctiva, infection of the cornea (the outer clear layer of the eye), and until infection of the eyeball.
LFX is a brand of eye drops containing antibiotics levofloxacin to fight bacterial infections in the eye. This drug is usually used to treat external eye infections such as: conjunctivitis (inflammation of the conjunctiva). And cenfresh is an eye drops containing Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose or an artificial tear drops. This drug can be used, protecting the eye against further irritation, reducing discomfort due to minor eye irritation including infections.
Generally these eye drops rarely cause side effects, unless you have an allergy to the womb. For example, allergies to levofloxacin, allergic reactions that can arise can be swollen, and itchy.
But swelling in the eye can also occur due to infections that occur in your eye. However, to ensure that the condition is an allergic reaction or indeed due to an initial infection, we recommend that you immediately return the control to a doctor who has handled you before or who gave the drug for more evaluation. If it is suspected to be an allergic reaction, the doctor will treat and change the type of medication given.
For me, here are some steps you can take at home:
Avoid rubbing or rubbing the eyes, because it can trigger irritation and cause further infections due to germs on the hands that enter the eye. Compress the swollen part with a cloth or cotton with ice water, compress for about 15 minutes and then be repeated until several times if formed crust on the eyes, compress with warm water or wash with baby shampoo.
