Eye Irritation Feels Hot And Sore After Wearing Contact Lenses?
1 month ago I bought a colored konrak lens. My eyes were fine when the lens was first used. After using it, I store the D case with a different liquid brand. A week later I tried using the lens, some when I plug my eyes feel hot, sore and runny continuously even until several hours after discharge. I clean and save the d case according to instructions. I also always keep my hands clean when going to use a lens. Then I tried to change the liquid but it was still different from the lens brand. I try to attach the lens and the same reaction happens even worse, my eyes feel more sore and sore. Am I not suitable to use the liquid? Or does the liquid you use have to be the same as the lens brand? Please help, thank you …
Hello, good morning. Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com
Contact lens or contact lens is a visual aid that is directly attached to the front of the eye so that it is in direct contact with the eye. The important thing is to choose the right contact lenses and maintain cleanliness. If symptoms such as red eye occur, itching can be caused by several things such as
Dry eyes where they are covered by contact lenses, the eye layer is not exposed to direct humidity with the air so that you need to drink enough and use eye drops to moisturize the eyes
The surface of the contact lens is damaged or rough where it rubs the surface of the eye
Contact lenses that are too small or too large where this will disrupt the supply of oxygen to the surface of the eye or if it is too big the lens always moves and rubs the surface of the eye
Allergic to certain foreign objects where softlens have some content, this can occur allergic to some people
Inflammatory reactions in the eye or conjunctivitis are usually caused by parasites and the use of contact lenses can trigger this inflammation.
So the thing to note is
Choose the right size for your eyes
Wash your hands clean and should be sterile
Install correctly and do not reverse
Avoid using it in places that are too hot or windy
If you experience blurred vision, double vision, seeing as spotting should immediately consult your condition to an ophthalmologist.
Thus the information we can convey. Thank you
