Eye Pain And Dripping Blood?
Hello .. good afternoon .. my son is 3.5 years old this week, he has right eye pain, every morning he has quite a lot of excrement … yesterday I checked with an ophthalmologist and was given drops … after the drops were dropped long time it came out, it dripped blood, it’s not so much but it makes me worry .. is it the cause of the drops or because I forced my eyes to open because they rebelled because I didn’t want to be dripped with drugs … thanks in advance, please explain …
Hello Fuji, Thank you for the question.
Does dripping blood occur continuously or only at certain times? Do you know the doctor's diagnosis? This complaint may be part of the medical condition that your child is experiencing. If you force your child to open his eyes and are too strong, then this action might cause sores around the eyes. But if you do not see a wound around the eye, then the act of forcing the child to open his eyes is unlikely to cause this complaint. The complaints you submit can be caused by:
injury to structures around the eyes haemorrhagic conjunctivitis keratitis subconjunctival hemorrhage first while continuing the treatment recommended by the doctor. But if this complaint continues or even the amount of blood increases, you should check your child's condition to the ophthalmologist for further examination and treatment.
Please continue giving eye drops to your child. Make sure your children always keep their hands clean and teach them not to rub their eyes. Use eye patch if you are going out of the house to avoid exposure to air pollution to the eyes.
Hopefully this information is useful.
