Eye Pain Due To Stone Flakes.?
Good morning, Dr, I’m Ahmad Aminullah from West Nusa Tenggara. For the past two weeks I have had blurred, watery, sore, and foggy vision. Is this the symptom that I am experiencing now … And can the fog in my eyes disappear?
Good evening, thanks for the question
Previously whether the history of exposure to foreign objects (stone debris) in the eye has received adequate medical treatment?
Conjunctival foreign bodies are foreign objects that are normally not found in the conjunctiva and can cause tissue irritation. Symptoms include pain, red and watery eyes, foreign body sensation, and light sensitivity. Complications that can occur in the form of corneal ulcers or corneal abrasion, especially if there is friction of foreign objects with the corneal lining of the eye. Corneal abrasion can cause vision problems because the cornea is part of the refractive function for vision. Symptoms include red eyes, sensitive to light, watery eyes, and blurred vision. Treatment with antibiotics and cyclopegic drugs is appropriate therapy after diagnosis is confirmed through physical examination of the eye.
If the sharp decrease in your vision is significant, you should immediately consult with an eye specialist for further evaluation. The sooner it is diagnosed the better it will be for future recovery.
That's all, hope you can help
