Hello Ikrom, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.

Angioedema is a swelling that occurs in the mucous membrane, usually caused by an allergic reaction. In general, cases of angioedema are not dangerous, but in severe cases can cause respiratory failure. Symptoms of angioedema are:

swelling and heat on the lips or eyes
itching in certain areas of the body
shortness of breath in severe cases

Treatment of angioedema in mild cases can use drugs such as antihistamines, compress the swollen area with cold water, not scratching the itchy part. But in severe cases that can cause respiratory failure, prompt action is needed. So if symptoms arise accompanied by shortness of breath you should immediately go to the hospital to get further treatment.

Hope it helps, thanks.
