Face Bumps And Itching After Honey Consumption
Hello Doc. This afternoon I just bought honeycomb and ate it. Then after a few minutes on my lips and my face appeared bumpy and itchy. after I read it turned out to be allergic. what I want to ask is … how long does it take allergic itching because honey can recover … ??? or what medication should be used … ??? Thank you.

Angioedema is a swelling that occurs in the mucous membrane, usually caused by an allergic reaction. In general, cases of angioedema are not dangerous, but in severe cases can cause respiratory failure. Symptoms of angioedema are:

itching in certain areas of the body
shortness of breath in severe cases
