Facial Skin Becomes Dry After Washing Your Face Using Facial Soap
Doc wants to ask. My face is oily and has large pores. Why every time I use facial soap for oily skin my skin actually dries + appears white like people use powder huh?

Thank you for the question.
Oily and large porous skin does require special care to stay healthy. The condition of your skin becoming dry and blotchy white may be caused by the use of skin care products that are not appropriate, thus damaging skin moisture and making many dead skin cells clog your pores. Complaints on your skin at this time can also indicate you are allergic or irritated to certain substances that come in contact with skin, blackheads, fungal infections or other microorganisms, xerosis, seborrheic dermatitis, milia, and many other medical conditions.
To improve, you can do it first:
Choose a mild facial cleansing soap and specially formulated for oily skin, wash your face morning and evening, then rinse with clean and flowing water
Do not rub excessive skin, nor hold it with dirty hands
Diligent hand washing and shorten your nails regularly
Do not exfoliate, squeeze, or give any treatment to dry skin and white spots
Limit physical activity outside the home, unless it's urgent
Don't forget to use a moisturizer and sunblock before activating, avoid using cosmetics that are too thick
Drink more, eat fruits and vegetables, reduce the habit of eating foods that contain high bad fats
If in a long time your complaints have not improved, you can see yourself directly to the doctor or dermatologist. However, if it is not an emergency, this examination should be postponed until the COVID-19 outbreak subsides, so that your risk of contracting the disease can be minimized.
I hope this helps.
