Facial Wash After Chemical Peels?
I finished chemical peeling using TCA 10% and started peeling off on day 4, what I read was that salicylic acid can remove dead skin. Can I use a facial wash that contains salicylic acid (salicylic acid)?
Chemical peeling is a skin aesthetic action that aims to exfoliate / remove dead skin cells using chemical solutions / liquids. Peeling is done in order to grow a new layer of skin that is brighter and healthier.
The peeling solution you use includes chemical peels that remove dead skin in the epidermis layer and the top of the dermis (after the outer skin layer). The use of facial cleansers with salicylic acid is still safe to use by paying attention to the skin reaction after use.
You need to know there are risks after peeling such as painful skin, darker skin, scars and even kidney and heart problems (in the deep chemical peeling method). So that, ideally, chemical peels are carried out under the supervision of an Aesthetic Doctor or Dermatologist.
Take care of your skin health with the following tips:
Use sunscreen when on the move from 8 am to 4 pm. Use sunscreen according to the directions on the package. Use a special moisturizing cream to reduce skin redness complaints. Choose a cream made specifically for sensitive and hypoallergenic skin. Stop make-up products for a while if your skin is still healing. If there is a very disturbing complaint, immediately consult a doctor.
