Feeling A Sign Of Schizophrenia At The Age Of 19 Years
I want to ask the doc, according to what I read on the web that schizo is experienced by women at the age of 25 years and over, and I am 19 years old and some of these features are in me? Do I have schizo? thank you
Schizophrenia is a condition of mental disorders that occur in the long term and causes a person to experience hallucinations (false perceptions of the wrong senses), delusions (delusions), disruption of ways and patterns of thought and behavior changes. Schizophrenia is included as a psychotic disease (psychosis) which makes it difficult for sufferers to distinguish between reality and their own thoughts.
These symptoms must last for at least 6 months for the diagnosis of schizophrenia to be established. In addition to symptoms, the social function and work of schizophrenics are also disrupted. If the complaint lasts less than 6 months with symptoms that lead to schizophrenia, the doctor can diagnose the condition as acute psychosis, psychotic disorders related to drug consumption or other medical conditions, mood disorders with psychotic characteristics or psychotic disorders without specific causes.
The diagnosis of schizophrenia can only be confirmed by a doctor after a thorough psychiatric interview, physical examination or investigation to rule out other possible causes of your complaint. Therefore if you experience any of the above symptoms, I strongly recommend that you consult directly with a mental health specialist in order to get treatment that suits your conditions and needs and prevent your complaints from continuing or aggravating.
