Feeling Anxious And Scared?
I am 21 years old. Just got out of the hospital due to lack of blood. But these few days I feel often anxious and afraid for some reason. Feet feel cold body too. The heart was pounding like a nervous person. Is it troma because of the disease, because I was rarely sick before when I was hospitalized. I’m thinking no. Please solve.
Hi Elis, thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com
Normal anxiety conditions are experienced by everyone in response to a 'stress' such as the fear of speaking in public, taking certain actions, and so on. But there are some types of anxiety that are not normal, namely anxiety that interferes with your life, activities, and health -- these are called anxiety disorders. There are 3 types of anxiety disorders, you can read further in the following article: Three Types of Anxiety Disorders.
If you see from your description, where there are complaints of cold feet and body, accompanied by pounding, it may lead to excessive anxiety or indeed there are other underlying medical conditions. When you are discharged from inpatient at the hospital, you are actually in a recovered condition but need recovery time that can be done at home, therefore it is necessary to do post-hospitalization control (generally 1 week after hospitalization). We cannot determine the cause of the condition that you are currently experiencing if we only look at the information you provide. In the meantime, you can do, including:
Manage stress wisely and get closer to God Y.M.E
Consumption of drugs that have been given regularly
Get enough rest and avoid excessive activity
Consumption of food with good nutrition and nutrition
Light exercise is recommended when you are strong enough to do it (walking / jogging / cycling on a horizontal road / etc.)
If your condition worsens, you should see a doctor for further examination and treatment
So much information that we can convey, may be useful. Regards, Dr. Prasetyo
