Feeling Having 2 Personalities Is Accompanied By Anxiety And Crying?
I am 19 years old. I feel the character changes to the extreme. I used to be very easy to get along with and interact with people. but now I am very close myself with people, neighbors, or people that I have not known. I also like having two personalities when with my friends or family. I can be a very cheerful person and talk a lot when with them ,. I can make my own character that I want them to remember for me, but actually I don’t like that. and these past few years I have been very easily worried about little things, often cry when alone, and always feel lonely. I can not tell anyone, because I’m also confused what caused me like this. even though I belong to a very harmonious family. how to overcome it? Will it be bad for my mental? thanks.
Good evening, thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com. Adolescence and young adulthood can indeed be times that are very confusing. Because in those days our character is formed. Someone is said to have a whole personality when he reaches the age of around 23 years, but still there are those who experience a quarter life crisis until the age of 27 years. So what we want to say, you don't necessarily experience that is a disorder and you don't need to worry too much about it.
This character change can occur due to various factors, such as disappointment, life experiences and lessons, principles and idealism, various problems, and many more. In general, over time we will mature by knowing what kind of person we will be, based on everything we've been through. That is a process, and everyone must go through it.
But apart from that, if you really feel difficulties, or really disturbed in living everyday life, nothing forces you to go through it yourself. Consult your problem with a psychologist or a psychiatrist, to help find the best solution for your problem, all at once detected whether there is a certain mental disorder. So, hopefully answering your question.
