Hello, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
Generally there is no specific time limit to be able to return to sexual activity after a cesarean section. however, some studies suggest waiting 4-6 weeks postoperatively. this is related to pain, discomfort and the possibility of bleeding that can still occur in this period because the cervix is still not completely closed and the process of returning to the size of the uterus as before. but complaints of pain and discomfort can persist for up to 3 months after surgery, and in some people may even settle and decrease gradually for up to one year after surgery.
This is still within normal limits as long as the intensity of pain that arises does not continue to increase and is not accompanied by other accompanying symptoms, such as massive bleeding, or fever.
Stay relaxed and avoid fear or worry that can also trigger the pain. communicate with your partner.
If the complaints don't get better and bother you, you should consult your obstetrician who previously treated you to get further examination and treatment related to your condition.
So much information from me, hopefully it helps.
