Feeling Like Urinating When Things Are Calm?
, when I’m contemplating something or it’s really calm I feel like peeing. Why is that?
Good morning, thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com. Although this is not always the case, calm conditions and the desire to urinate can be linked to the following explanation. All activities in our body are controlled by nerves. There are nerves called sympathetic nerves, whose work is to give the body a response called the fight or flight response. This response varies, it can be a faster heart rate, sweat, dilate pupils, increase blood pressure, inhibit digestion and one of them inhibits urinary excretion. It is easy for these nerves to be activated when the body is physically or mentally active.
Conversely, there are also parasympathetic nerves that provide a body response called the rest and digest response, which is activated when a person is resting, calm, sleeping, or doing nothing. What the nervous system does is the opposite of what the sympathetic nerves do. Thus, it is easier for you to feel like urinating than when the sympathetic nerves are activated.
But of course, if you urinate repeatedly despite the small amount of fluid you drink, or you feel the amount of urination is abnormal, check with your doctor for further testing because there may be certain underlying medical conditions. But if not, the condition is still considered normal. We wish you and your family good health.
That's all, hope it helps.
