Feeling Pregnant, But Negative Testpack?
Excuse me, the above symptoms are all felt by my wife but the results of the tespack are negative after a late menstrual week, but my wife menstruates 1 week later after the results of the tespack come out. So what do I need to do is?
Hi Adobe Obob,
Test pack is a tool to detect pregnancy hormones, human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) found in the urine (urine) of pregnant women. The HCG hormone is produced by the placenta after fertilization results and develops in the uterine wall. The amount of the HCG hormone will usually double every two to three days in the first week of pregnancy. Test packs should be used when you are having a late period. The use of test packs that are too early can cause inaccurate test results because the amount of HCG in your body is still too little.
A negative test pack result can indicate that your wife is not pregnant or pregnant, but the HCG hormone is still low so it is undetectable. However, if it is then followed by menstruation, then there is a big possibility not to become pregnant, but only menstrual delays can be caused by hormonal balance disorders. Normal menstrual cycles range from 21-35 days, if still in between, it can not be said to be late for menstruation.
Other investigations that can be done to prove the presence or absence of pregnancy is an ultrasound examination of the womb. You can have your wife checked by a gynecologist if there is a disturbance in the repetitive menstrual cycle. Thus the explanation from me, may be useful.
