Fever in children is a condition when a child's body temperature rises past normal limits. Fever is defined when the child's body temperature is more than 37.2 degrees Celsius when measured from the armpits, exceeds 37.8 degrees Celsius when measured from the mouth, or above 38 degrees Celsius when measured from the rectum. Fever is the body's natural mechanism in fighting infection. The appearance of fever in children indicates that the child's immune system is working to fight the flu or other infections. There are several causes of fever among children:
clothing and environmental temperature
There are several ways to deal with fever among children:
meet the fluid needs of children, by providing plenty of drinking so that children do not become dehydrated
put a small towel soaked in warm water on the child's forehead as a compress. Not recommended to use cold water to compress, because it can increase body temperature and make children shiver.
get plenty of rest and don't leave the house
make sure the room temperature remains cool to make the child feel comfortable.
blanket the child with a thin cloth and open the window so that air circulation is smoother and the temperature of the room feels cooler.
You can give fever-lowering drugs such as paracetamol syrup according to the dosage listed
if your child's fever does not go down too or keep going up and down more than 3 days and accompanied by other symptoms immediately take the child to the doctor to do the examination and treatment according to the cause.
Thus the info I can give
hopefully can help you
