Do you think I am experiencing symptoms that lead to covid-19?
Hello RA, thank you for asking.
COVID-19 is a viral infection that attacks the respiratory tract. The main symptoms are fever that reaches> 38 ° C, coughing, and shortness of breath. Other symptoms that may arise include colds, nasal congestion, sore throat, headaches, muscle and joint pain, and others. However these symptoms are not typical for COVID-19. In COVID-19 it is important to assess a history of traveling to an infected area / country in the past 14 days, a history of contact with a confirmed patient, or living and settling in a local transmission area. With the symptoms that occur to you at this time it is important to assess whether the history mentioned above or not. If there is, it is possible for COVID-19 infection to occur. Therefore it's good you immediately isolate yourself at home and contact a doctor for further treatment. Because to make a diagnosis of COVID-19, a physical examination must be done directly and other additional examinations such as blood tests, chest X-ray images, and so on.
The symptoms that occur to you can also be caused by various other things such as viral infections, dehydration, allergies, irritation, and other causes.
For that, a few things you can do:
Consumption of nutritious foods
Get enough rest and drink
Wash your hands regularly
Use a mask when coughing
Avoid traveling or to a crowd
Keep a distance from people around at least 1m
Avoid using public transportation as much as possible when you have to go outdoors
Cigarette cigarettes and alcohol
Manage stress well
So, hopefully useful.
