Good evening, I want to ask about fever. I have been experiencing heat in my body for a week and my palms are also hot. I do not feel weak, flu, or characteristics like sick people usually and I am still excited to move. but, somehow my body is hot every day, sometimes cold, sometimes hot again as well as the palm of my hand. now my position is menstruating already 3 days. What does it hurt? Do I want to menstruate or is there something else? please info. u003cstrong u003eThank you:) u003c / strong u003e
Hello Popy, thank you for asking to HealthReplies.com.
Let me introduce myself, Dr. Rio will answer your question.
Fever is a sign / symptom that occurs when there is a systemic inflammation in the human body. The fever itself occurs when the body temperature is above normal, 37.5'C. This can lead to a diagnosis by accompanying other complaints such as coughing, heartburn, dizziness, etc. Responding to the story you are telling, there are several possibilities that can occur such as:
You currently have a fever. This can occur due to bacterial / viral infections in your body. You have somatoform disorders. This occurs due to a psychological disorder that is most often caused by excessive stress. You don't have a fever, but you feel like you have a fever. This can occur due to hormonal changes during menstruation. Due to the limited data, and the information that I have, I cannot confirm that possibility. For this reason, you should check yourself directly to the doctor. The doctor will conduct a question and answer, physical examination on you such as checking your temperature, etc., and recommends a supplementary examination if necessary.
Right now what you can do is:
Get enough rest, and eat nutritious foods to increase your immunity. Avoid going out of the house, or traveling to crowded places. To go to the doctor, you can visit the clinic / puskesmas first because currently there is an outbreak of covid infection -19 avoid traveling to the hospital if it is not so urgent. You can take paracetamol to ease your current fever. Inadequate your daily fluid needs. That's all the answers I can give, thank you very much :)
