Fever Fluctuates With Colds, Body Weakness And Muscle Aches?
I have a fever for 3 days the body temperature sometimes goes up sometimes it goes down, it is weak, it hurts muscles. at all I do not feel a sore throat as usual I have the flu.
Thank you for the question.
The flu that is echoed by ordinary people often refers to complaints of nasal congestion, runny nose, or sneezing. These complaints, if they appear together with fever up and down, weakness, and muscle aches, most likely occur related to respiratory system infections. Not only is it currently epidemic, namely Corona virus infection (SARS CoV-2), various types of viruses and other bacteria can also cause respiratory system infections whose clinical symptoms are similar to yours. Sometimes, even infections in other organ systems, such as ENT infections, gastrointestinal infections, measles, etc., the prodromal symptoms can be very similar to respiratory infections. Other factors, such as allergies, irritation, until the entry of foreign objects into the respiratory tract can also mimic respiratory infections.
Differentiating whether your condition is mild or dangerous is certainly not enough just to monitor whether a complaint appears accompanied by sore throat or not. First, if it's true that your complaint has been going on for 3 days, it means that you need to see yourself directly to the doctor or internist. A physical examination, blood test, x-rays, or other supporting tests may be that your doctor recommends that you can give you the right treatment.
In the meantime, what can be done now so that complaints will subside are:
Rest 7-9 hours a day Do not overdo physical activities, especially outside the home, in a cold, polluted, smoky, dusty environment, and lots of contact with allergens. Drink more, especially water. Eat regularly, complete with fruits high levels of vitamin C. Don't smoke. When you have a fever and muscle aches, take medicine for paracetamol to feel uncomfortable. Hope it helps.
