Fever Has Been 4 Days Accompanied By Lower Abdominal Pain, Back Pain During The Puerperium?
Hello, I’m in the puerperium. Week 3 I feel back pain that doesn’t go away after I was given treatment with vitamin B1 but there is no change, I actually get sicker. it hurts even when I laugh, sneeze, move my waist and stomach hurts, I wonder why, how do I fix it?
Hello Faida, thanks for the question for HealthReplies.com
Low back and abdominal pain accompanied by fever after childbirth or during the puerperium can be caused by several possibilities, including:
infection of the uterus (endometritis) infection of the kidneys and urinary tract thrombosis or blockage of blood vessels in the reproductive tract appendicitis or appendicitis
In the case of abdominal and low back pain that gets worse, especially when accompanied by a fever like you are experiencing, you should immediately consult your gynecologist for further examination. The possible diseases that cause the symptoms you are experiencing cannot be handled by yourself at home and require direct examination and treatment from your obstetrician. Your obstetrician may also perform several supporting examinations such as blood tests, urinalysis, abdominal and kidney ultrasound, and so on.
For a while, you can take painkillers and anti-fever drugs such as Paracetamol to overcome the pain and fever you feel. You can also compress your lower abdomen and waist with a warm compress to help reduce pain. Make sure you don't wash your vagina with certain liquids or traditional ingredients, don't have sexual intercourse first, and don't insert certain objects into your vagina.
That's all the information from me, hopefully it's enough to answer
