Fever Has Been A Week Accompanied By Cloudy Urine And Plaiting

Good morning,. This week my fever fluctuated. Starting from last week, my morning urine woke up looking very cloudy u0026amp; feels crazy. Usually I take nerve medications regularly to prevent epilepsy, such as carbamazepine, phenytoin, luminal, u0026amp; mefenamic acid.Tp because of turbid urine u0026amp; I feel pain after urinating, I stop taking nerve medication, then take amoxicillin 3×1. Antibiotics have been used up, but the urine in the morning is still cloudy even though there has been improvement from the previous one. by late afternoon my body heat starts to rise again. In fact, 2 nights I was shivering in the middle of the night. Should I have a blood test or should I wait for a routine schedule for control to a neurologist on Friday and Sunday?

Hello Malvina,
Thank you for the question.
Fever that is accompanied by cloudy urine and plaiting can be caused by:
Urinary tract infection. Urinary tract stones. Diseases of the intimate organs such as bacterial vaginosis or sexually transmitted diseases. Dehydration. If you consume drugs that prevent epilepsy routinely, you should not delay taking the drug to prevent seizures from recurring. You should also not take antibiotics without a prescription or doctor's advice, because doing so can cause antibiotic resistance and ineffective treatment. In addition, in the midst of this co-19 outbreak, you should reduce visits to health centers or hospitals to avoid the risk of infection.
The following things you can do to help reduce symptoms:
Take fever relievers such as paracetamol every 6-8 hours, and warm compresses forehead. Drink at least 2-3 liters of water per day. Rinse the sex organs from front to back after urinating. Urinate after sexual intercourse. If the fever does not go down more than 3 days, severe pain when urinating, blood in the urine, and can not urinate more than 8 hours, immediately contact a doctor.
Hopefully this information can help and hopefully get well soon.
Regards.
