Fever Has Gone Down But Still Muscle Aches And Headaches On The Back
Morning doc, I want to ask, at first I experienced Fever accompanied by headaches and muscle aches, 2 days passed, my fever has gone down, but the headaches and muscle aches are still there, and when I lie down and breathe the longer my throat feels itching (want to cough, but do not feel shortness of breath), have I contracted the corona virus ?, If not yet, how is the best way to overcome the symptoms above?
Hello Handy, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
I will try to help answer.
Complaints of headaches, muscle aches, itching in the throat like coughing that begins with can be caused by:
Tonsillitis: an inflammation that occurs in the tonsils, can be caused by viruses or bacteria. Symptoms include sore throat, painful swallowing, fever, cough, headache.
Pharyngitis: an inflammation that occurs in the pharynx, can be caused by viruses or bacteria. Symptoms include sore throat, painful swallowing, fever, headache.
Laryngitis: an inflammation that occurs in the larynx, can be caused by viruses or bacteria. Symptoms include sore throat, painful swallowing, fever and hoarseness.
To better know the symptoms that lead to what disease, further examination is needed by a doctor. Later the doctor will conduct a physical examination related to complaints that arise, and may even require additional examinations such as blood tests, or laryngoscopy.
In general, the symptoms of corona virus are:
Out of breath
Travel history to areas affected by corona outbreaks
Or make physical contact with a positive person suffering from corona
Further tests are needed to distinguish corona from other diseases. You do not need to worry. There are several things you can do at home:
Avoid activities outside the home
Avoid contact with other people
If forced to leave the house use a mask
Use a mask or mouth cover when sneezing or coughing
Avoid excessive stress
Get enough rest and multiply the consumption of water
If complaints such as high fever, coughing get worse, shortness of breath, immediately take it to the nearest hospital to get further treatment.
Thus a brief explanation from me, hopefully can help. thanks.
