Fever Is Accompanied By Colds And Body Aches?
Good afternoon, I am 28 years old, I have a fever, body aches and headaches, and already 3hrs, all have healed except coughing. But even though I don’t get sick and I have a fever, I feel that my body hasn’t returned to normal, even though I haven’t had a fever for 3 days. Please enlighten me.
Hello. Thank you for the question submitted to HealthReplies.com. We can understand the concern you feel.
There are several possibilities that can cause coughing, fever, body aches, and headaches, including:
Pharyngitis, which is inflammation of the pharyngeal wall, the main cause is a virus, symptoms: fever that is not too high, sore throat, cough, red eyes, runny nose, achy body, headache
Tonsillitis, which is inflammation of the palatine tonsils, is most often caused by a virus, symptoms: fever, sore throat, enlarged neck lymph nodes, and usually in conjunction with pharyngitis
Common cold, also called a cold, which is a viral infection of the upper respiratory tract, symptoms: fever, sneezing, nasal congestion, body aches, headaches, coughing
Acute bronchitis, which is inflammation of the bronchial tubes under the throat to the lungs, symptoms: cough, fever, shortness of breath
Pneumonia, which is inflammation of the lungs, symptoms: cough, fever, shortness of breath
To help alleviate symptoms, you can take paracetamol at a dose that follows the instructions for use on the drug packaging. You should immediately see a doctor if there are signs / symptoms as follows:
Symptoms do not improve within 3 days of treatment with paracetamol and adequate rest
There is bleeding in the form of nosebleeds, bleeding gums, red spots on the skin, black or fresh red bowel movements, bloody urine
The body becomes weak and the heart / pulse beats fast or is not even palpable
As a suggestion, you should take the following simple steps:
Wash hands with soap and running water before eating and drinking
Eat a balanced nutritious diet, including fruits and vegetables that contain lots of vitamin C
Avoid contact with other people with similar symptoms
