Fever Is Accompanied By Cough, Runny Nose And Chest Pain
ass, one week back I have a fever and then it’s gone, then 3 days later I started having a cold and accompanied by fever and cough the next day, then now my chest hurts a bit but I’m not short of breath, what should I do? Is it because I’m late eating or other illness or corona symptoms? please help because I’m afraid to see a doctor directly, because I am now starting to be very parnoan, thanks
Thank you for the question.
Fever followed by coughing, runny nose, and chest pain, the possible causes can be many, for example:
Respiratory system infections (including those due to Corona virus)
Other organ system infections
Other factors, for example allergies, rhinosinusitis, pharyngitis, bronchitis, pleurisy, gastritis, gastroesophageal reflux disease, heart problems, muscle cramps, aspiration of foreign bodies into the airways, etc.
Fever that you feel, if it has been more than 3 days, or accompanied by tightness, vomiting, weakness, and severe chest pain like being crushed by a heavy object, it is better to consult a doctor directly. Not only does it give you medicine, if your doctor suspects you are suffering from a more serious condition, you may also be directed to undergo a supporting test (such as a blood test, throat swab, or x-ray) or also check with a specialist (such as internal medicine or ENT) .
In the meantime, you can first do the initial handling as follows:
Relieve fever by taking paracetamol
Warm compresses on your sore chest
Drink more and eat warm, brothful, not too cold, artificial sweetening, let alone greasy
Don't think too much
Staying at home, in order to avoid exposure to smoke, pollution, dust, and other substances that often aggravate coughs and colds
Discipline to exercise every day
Hope this helps ...
