Fever, Itchy Throat Accompanied By Cough With No Phlegm

Hello u003cbr / u003eGood Morning,

Hello Fellawati,
Thank you for the question.
Fever, itchy throat, and cough can be many possible triggers, not only COVID-19, but also other viral or bacterial infections, allergies, gastric acid reflux, excessive vocal cord strain, throat irritation, asthma, bronchitis, and so on. You should be aware that you have contracted COVID-19 if you have been in contact with a patient or suspect of COVID-19, or if you live or have traveled to an area with a local transmission of COVID-19. If not, it is more likely that your complaint arises due to other triggers.
However, responding to the current pandemic, it seems that being careful is much better for you. Therefore, you should continue to make good handling efforts, namely by:
Rest at home (ask permission if possible)
If you still have a fever, take the paracetamol medication to subside
Don't talk anymore nor shout too much
Drink warm drinks, you can also add ginger
Eat lots of fruits that are rich in vitamin C
Don't eat cold, oily and artificial sweet foods first
Use a mask during coughing
Be diligent in washing your hands, showering 2 times a day, and also keeping your environment clean
Stay away from cigarettes and things that make you allergic
Calm your mind
If you feel you are at risk of contracting COVID-19 (based on the criteria above), or if there is a high fever for more than 3 days and a disturbing tightness, you can further check your complaint to your doctor or internist.
I hope this helps.
