Fever, Sore Throat And Runny Nose, Is It Because Of Contracting COVID-19?
At night, I have had a slight fever for 3 days, that is, my temperature is around 37.0 – 37.5 degrees Celsius. I also have a sore throat that is quite painful to swallow food, I only experienced a cold on the first day and then the next day I did not experience a cough / runny nose at all, I’m also not dizzy. I have not taken any paracetamol. Does my statement above indicate that I have contracted COVID-19? What steps should I take to heal my body. Thank you for your time doctor !! GBU

Looking at the temperature measurement results you wrote, it can be concluded that your body temperature is within normal limits (normal body temperature 36.5 - 37.5 degrees Celsius). Even if a fever does occur, it can be caused by several possibilities, one of which is a viral infection. Usually other symptoms will accompany fever complaints such as cough, runny nose, nasal congestion, sore throat, muscle and joint pain, headache, watery eyes and so forth. Although fever is one of the main symptoms of Corona infection, it does not show any specificity for this infection. Related to your question can be read in full here.
