Good evening, I beg your doctor’s help. U003cbr u003e u003cbr u003e Just recently my eyes were hit by dirty water when I was driving a motorbike, what I feared was where I passed when I felt water entering my eyes was a chicken abattoir, I I was worried that I would get a parasite. After I got home, I quickly rinse my eyes and I use Cendo xitrol. U003cbr u003e u003cbr u003e Is there anything else I should do to make sure my eyes are not infected and should I go to the doctor to examine my eyes? u003cbr u003e u003cbr u003e. Thank you.
Hello Ahmad, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
The first aid for eyes that are splashed with dirty liquid is to rinse the eyes. Rinse with running water for at least 15 minutes. Look into your eyes whether there is small material left in the eye (such as sand or small pebbles attached to the eye). If there is, try rinsing longer but DO NOT scratch it yourself by hand or certain sharp objects. if the small material can not get out of the eye, then you should immediately go to the eye doctor.
If after rinsing you do not feel any symptoms in your eyes (your eyes are not red, not sore, not runny, do not feel pain), then there is nothing you need to do anymore. Go to an ophthalmologist if you really feel certain symptoms in your eyes.
You should not use eye drops containing steroids and antibiotics such as Cendo Xitrol carelessly. These drugs are classified as hard drugs that you should not use without going through an examination from a doctor first and you should not be able to buy without a doctor's prescription. You must use this type of medication according to the rules given by your doctor.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
