First Menstruation For 4 Days A Week Later Bleeding / Menstruation?
Afternoon, I am a mother of 2 children aged 45 years, lately my period is irregular. For example, from last month to this month I was clean 1 month, 1 week (more) after menstruation 4 days ago, and then a week later, there was more blood / like menstruation, but in small amounts. And a little stomach pain but after menstruation comes out relieved … Thank you in advance.
Good evening, thanks for the question
Menstrual cycle disorders currently experienced may be caused by hormonal disorders leading to the menopause phase. Menopause is the cessation of menstrual cycles within 1 year. The average age of menopause is 51 years, but the range is 45-55 years. The condition before menopause is called perimenopause where this phase can last for 10 years. During perimenopause hormone levels are so unstable that they cause changes in the menstrual cycle.
As long as normal menstruation still occurs, the hormones estrogen and progesterone will fluctuate with a clear pattern that remains. But this does not occur in the perimenopause phase, so that symptoms can appear irregular cycles and can experience spotting or spots.
Several months of bleeding can occur and many long cycles, then followed by very little bleeding and short cycles. Can also occur there is no menstrual cycle for some time. Every woman can feel different experiences with each other, but still classified as a normal condition.
But to watch out for abnormal bleeding if you encounter complaints such as:
- Bleeding so much that there are symptoms of anemia such as weakness, pale or tightness
- Bleeding a lot more than 3 weeks
- Bleeding after sexual intercourse
If you experience the above you should immediately consult an obstetrician to find out if there are disorders of the reproductive organs.
That's all, hope you can help
