Fluctuating Appetite And Weight Loss?
Hello, I am not an ordinary person to lose weight. My normal weight is 50kg, usually I can go up to 51kg or lose 49kg when I eat a lot and don’t eat enough. But it didn’t last long. But this time my BB dropped to 47.5 kg. It could be that during the past 1 month there was not enough food and lots of campus activities. Since I went to college, I had a lack of appetite. But this week I became hungry and nauseous easily. I wonder why? The fear that this reduction in body weight is an indication of certain illness. And I rarely get nauseous, but recently it’s been a lot. Please explain, doctor. Thank you
Good afternoon, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com. Weight loss can occur for many reasons, including:
Lack of nutrition Lack of sleep or staying up late Stress, lots of thoughts A lot of activity, tiredness Doing a low calorie diet Experiencing hyperthyroid conditions Have chronic or long-lasting diseases such as cancer
So in your case, it is difficult to determine what caused your weight loss. With a lack of information and no description of typical symptoms or physical examination, it could possibly be whatever is listed above, and it could also be a combination of the points. As for lack of appetite, hunger and nausea, this can also happen for many reasons, which can or may not be related to your weight loss condition.
Our advice is that you can consult a nutritionist about your nutrition and your daily life, or do a general checkup with your doctor to find out if there are any suspicions about certain physical disorders. Meanwhile, get enough rest, manage your time well, avoid stress, eat more food, exercise regularly and avoid cigarette smoke. So, hopefully it answers your question.
