Hello Ervin! Thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
Sore throat will usually improve in less than 7-10 days. Continue taking antibiotics given by your doctor until they run out even though your symptoms have improved. To reduce discomfort in the throat, drink lots of water. Drinking warm water can make you more comfortable. You can also consume lozenges. Consumption of lozenges can make you more saliva, so that your throat is more comfortable. Choose lozengs that are registered with BPOM and try to choose sweets that are free of sugar. You can eat food as usual, avoid foods that contain chocolate, contain nuts, or contain flavoring. Get plenty of rest and talk less. Avoid caffeinated drinks, such as tea or coffee. Gargling with salt water can also help make your throat more comfortable. Do not smoke. Come for control if your symptoms don't improve after the medication has run out or is getting worse.
That's all information from me. I hope this helps.
