Foot Injury Or (ulceration)?
The sores that are on my feet, why is it so hard to dry, and after using the ointment, it doesn’t work.
Hello Sintia, Thank you for the question.
How long has this complaint occurred? Ulceration is a dry wound. Sores can occur when there are sores on the skin that can be caused by injuries such as blisters or punctures, infections of the skin (viral, bacterial, or fungal infections), or because of other skin problems such as eczema or psoriasis. To overcome this condition you must first know what the main cause. If it is caused by an infection or certain skin conditions, then treatment is also intended to overcome this. Maybe this ulcer does not heal because the handling is not right. In addition, if you experience nutritional deficiencies or certain medical conditions such as diabetes, then this wound is also usually difficult to heal.
If it doesn't heal, the best step is to see a doctor. The doctor needs to do a direct assessment of the ulcer before the doctor decides the next treatment. Meanwhile, avoid peeling scabs. You can clean the scabs slowly with a clean, damp cloth. Keep the area clean and dry. Don't forget to consume nutritious food regularly to avoid nutritional deficiencies.
I hope this helps.
